Matt brings to the team an extraordinary passion, commitment and work ethic to everything he sets his mind to with a particular affinity for helping the vulnerable – always going above & beyond to make sure his clients (young & old) are always taken care of, NOT taken advantage of.
When he’s not working his magic on site, you can normally find him somewhere outdoors, either at the beach fishing or surfing or camping and 4WDing with his family.

Sonia’s experience in and impressive knowledge of the Plumbing Industry along with the experience she gained having previously worked in various local government roles for several years, combine to make her a powerhouse of information and organisation both in and out of the office.
When she’s not buried in her business & project management responsibilities, you can find her alongside her husband (Matt) and 2 kids enjoying the great outdoors with their extended families.

Kaihla’s experience in business management along with her incredible knack for multi-tasking, scheduling and finance is the glue that keeps the team together and the business running like a well-oiled machine.
When she’s not working the never-ending phone calls, job bookings and accounts like a total boss, she’s also running a household and being a mum.
In her downtime, Kaihla enjoys a little retail therapy and spending quality time with her family at the beach.
Scott

Starting and completing his apprenticeship with MSJ Plumbing, Scott has has honed his skills and experience under the watchful eye of Matt becoming the go-to-guy for all new works, renovations and specialised projects. He’s also always on hand to help out the maintenance team when they need him.
When he can’t possibly annoy his wife anymore, Scott likes to annoy other campers, fishermen and hunters.
Nick

A relative newbie, Nick has slotted in easily to the MSJ team bringing with him the passion, commitment and quality that Matt insists from all his employees. Nick is the other half of the new works, renovations and specialised projects duo.
Nick's hobbies and interests include camping, dropping a line in the water, travelling & exploring (when time & covid restrictions allow).
Ryan

A bit of a “freshie”, Ryan is currently working towards his qualifications while gaining on the job experience working alongside all the team members and across a range of different jobs to ensure his skill set and knowledge are diverse and varied during his time as an apprentice.
When he’s not smashing through his TAFE work, Ryan enjoys burning up the trails on his dirt bike, boating, camping and fishing.
Cameron

Having only just commenced his apprenticeship, Cameron is currently working towards his qualifications while gaining on the job experience working alongside the MSJ Plumbing team.
In his downtime, you’ll find Cameron with his mates either on the footy field playing AFL, swimming in the nearest waterhole or setting up camp at his favourite fishing spot.
MEMBERSHIPS, CERTIFICATION & COMPLIANCE
We take being a licensed and experienced Plumber & Gas Fitter seriously (because with great power comes great responsibility) which is why EVERY team member holds the most current (and relevant) certification or licensing as required by the QBCC & Master Plumbers Association.
Our team members also participate in regular recurrency training and professional development so we can be sure we’re at the top of our game when it comes to industry updates or developments in technology.
While individual team members certifications and licenses may vary slightly, most hold a combination of the following:
Master Plumbers Members | QBCC Licenced | Backflow Prevention | Thermostatic Mixing Valves | Solar and Heat Pumps | Confined Entry | Working at Heights | Machine Operating Ticket | Workplace, Health & Safety Compliant | National Police Certificate for all staff
A safe job site is a good job site, which is why we’re so adamant about ensuring all of our team members receive regular training in workplace health and safety procedures while also following the Workplace Health and Safety guidelines as set out by the Queensland Government, the QBCC and Master Plumbers Association.
